Not Like Chinese New Year
Hmm...It seemed a bit weird this Chinese New Year. Something CNY-ish feeling was not there. lol. I just couldnt feel the chinese new year festive mood. Although there are decorations and stuff like new clothes new things, the atmosphere is still not there yet. The 1st day of CNY we visited our grandmother, as usual. Follow which we went home. Erm yes, thats all for this new year. Haha. For the other two days would be to relax and chill out with friends. Sounds like some normal holidays that we have. hmmm. On sunday midnight i watched the I Not Stupid Too. haha my first midnight movie. I think the movie was great. 3 1/2 stars to 4 stars. The theme of the movie was very apt for us, teenagers. There was humour as well as those very sad parts. Not bad! haha. Yesterday evening went to Chinatown and Clarke Quay. We walked from Chinatown to Clarke Quay. There were lots of shops and restaurants there but the price was steep. We finally found one restaurant, anyhow, The Tapas Tree, to eat cos' it was already 9+! haha. so picky. We shared one glass of Sex on The Beach drink. nice name yeah. Then everybody just ordered some food to eat. Ug and I shared Paella Valenciana which was for 2 person. yeah i also dont know how to pronounce. $16 each leh. haha. tonight i am going to cindy's house for steamboat. ;). Yeah thats about it. There's just very little CNY atmosphere. Hmmmmm......Happy New Year!
